Cynthia A. Mathes, 58, died at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, February 6, 2011.
Cynthia was born June 23, 1952 in Sheboygan to Arthur and June (Jesky) Roehl.
She attended Sheboygan Falls Day School before graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School, Class of 1970.
On May 13, 1986 Cynthia and Don Mathes were united in marriage.
She bartended many years in Sheboygan and was a dispatcher at Airport Connections until illness forced her retirement.
Cindy was a member of the Sheboygan Memorial Post VFW 9156 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family and sharing those special moments with her pet cats and dogs.
In addition to her husband, Don, Cindy is survived by a daughter, Toni Roehl; two step children, Shawn (Monica) Mathes and Chad (Abby) Mathes; five grandchildren, Nakita, Marissa, Ali, Briana and Nathaniel; two brothers, David (Kathy) Turner and Jeff Roehl; a nephew, Robert (Theresa) Turner; a great-aunt, Joyce Kummer; and her beloved dogs, Zeus and Isis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, February 10,at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels.
