James was the third of six children born to Hunter McGuire and Donnie Etta (Wright) Williams. He died at the young age of only 20 months.

Funeral Services Are Held
For Little James Williams
Liberty, Jan. 12. - Funeral services for James Ross Williams, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Williams, were conducted at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from Mt. Pleasant Baptist church by Rev. M. B. Stuart.
The little fellow died at the home of his parents near Liberty Monday afternoon following a short illness with pneumonia. In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother Luther Williams at home, and grandparents, Henry Wright, Mrs. and Mrs. J. B. Williams.
Interment was made in the church cemetery.
