AUSTIN R. FOX DIED SATURDAY IN ST. LOUIS, MO.

Sadness that invaded the ranks of the family of Jonas P. Fox when that venerable merchant died on Monday, was doubled on Wednesday when relatives received information that Austin R. Fox, oldest son of Jonas P. Fox, had died at his home in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, April 5, two days before the death of his father.

Austin Fox, when a youth, acted in the capacity of messenger boy for the local Western Union office and later became an operator, working in this city for a number of years before leaving for Ohio, where he was transferred.

He was born and reared in DuBois and was a man well and favorably known. His death will be learned with much regret on the part of his many friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow and the following sons and daughters: Austin Fox, Jr., Mrs. Clifton Fuller, of Muncie, Indiana; Arden Jones Fox and Miss Irene Elizabeth Fox, of Warren, Ohio. The following brother and sisters also survive: Mrs. Hulda Korb of Chestnut Grove, Pa.; Miss Areta Fox, of Reynoldsville; Richard Fox, Mrs. Charles Burns, Mrs. D.J. Holmes, of DuBois; Frank Fox, of Stump Creek, Pa., Mrs. Jack Yoder, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Clarence Fox, of Chicago, Ill., as well as one grandchild, of Muncie, Ind.

Funeral services will be held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clifton Fuller, in Muncie.
