Funeral services for Ellen K. Will, 94, Marinette, WI were held Saturday, March 15, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Marinette. Rev. Dr. Lee Goodwin officiated with burial at Forest Home Cemetery. She died Wednesday, March 12, at the Renaissance Assisted Living Facility.

Born in Marinette, on Dec. 21, 1913, to Hans and Amelia ( Christensen) Thomsen, her parents died within a week of each other in the flu epidemic of 1918.
Following their death, five different families in their Marinette church each took one of the children into their homes and raised them.

On Dec. 6, 1949 she married Paul Will.
After their marriage they lived on the Will family farm in Coleman, WI for many years. He died Oct. 28, 1997.
She was employed by the Marinette Waterworks and Radtke Tax Service. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood of America. In later years, Ellen continued to prepare taxes independently for clients. While a resident at Renaissance Living Facility, she volunteered in the Marinette Public Schools. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Marinette.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Alice (Thomsen) Andersen, Margrethe Thomsen, Harvey Thomsen and Don Neverman .
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
