Mrs. Florence C. Baker, 82, of 905 Forest Avenue died at 12:03 p.m. Friday (June 20) at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient since Feb. 22. She was the widow of Carl C. Baker.
Mrs. Baker was born in Zanesville Nov. 11, 1886, a daughter of Alfred A. and Emma Clark Frazier.
She was a member of the Putnam Presbyterian church.
Surviving are three sons, Alfred W. Baker of 905 Forest avenue, Fredrick F. Baker of 1004 Sunset avenue and Carl C. Baker of Baltimore, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Dorthea) Polster of University City, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A brother Florian also preceded her in death.
The body was taken to the DeLong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
