Neice and namesake of Mabel Normand the silent screen star comedienne. Daughter of Claude Drury Normand and Winifred Teresa Normand(nee' Brennan of Galway Ireland)born on Staten Island, New York in the home which Mabel Normand gave to her parents.Mabel worked as a clothes Model for various clothing stores in New York and Pepsi Cola.She married in March 1948 to Stephen Rycoitch and had three sons Stephen(1948) Michael (1950) Normand Mark (1953). She suffered rheumatic fever as a teenager which weakened her heart and eventually caused her death in June 2005.Mabel was cremated in New Jersey and her ashes will rest with her husband upon his death and with her late son Michael (deceased January 1983). Her son Stephen an Anglican (Church of England priest) took her funeral service.
