He had been a Baltimore resident all his life.
Jehial had owned his own farm in Baltimore for many years and was the town of Baltimore road commissioner for fifty years. He was also the grader operator for the town of Chester for many years. He had served as Baltimore's town lister for many years as well.
He attended schools in Perkinsville and Baltimore.
On December 29, 1924, he married Addie Viola Ward in Springfield and she preceded him death in 1969.
He is survived by his companion, Charlotte "Mazie" Jackman of Baltimore; two sons Robert Converse of Williston, FL and Albert Converse of Baltimore; two daughters, Irene Allen and Viola Paul both of Baltimore; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Erwin Converse and two sisters, Lottie Cook and Clarissa Allen.
Burial will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield, VT.
