Born; in Westminster, SC on Nov 28, 1910, Mrs. McWhorter was a retired postal clerk with the Westminster Post Office and a member of the Five Forks Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC, member of the Happy Hearts Sunday School Class and member of Women's Missionary Union. She was alos former organist for the Westminster First Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Patricia M. and Husband William R. Jones of Walhalla; sister; Mrs. Ina McAllister of Seneca; 2 grandson, Randy Jones and wife, Brenda of Pickens, Richard Jones and wife, Natalie of Westminster; 2 grand daughters Kay Wyatt and husband Mike of Six mile, Valerie Donnohoo of Greer and 10 great grand children.
Mrs. McWhorter was preceded in dealth by her husband Randolph Grey McWhorter; parents William Lewis and Maude Chandler O'Kelley; brother, Robert Howard O'Kelley.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, Dec 18, 2002 form the Chapel of Sadifer Funeral Home with the Reverends Jim Culbreth adn John B Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oconee Memorial Park.
