Death of Christ Arndt (sic)
Christ Arndt, one of the pioneer residents of this city, died at 3 o'clock this morning, death being due to old age. Mr. Arndt was born in Germany in 1844 and came to this country when nine years of age. The funeral will be held at the Congregational Church, interment will be at Pioneers Rest Cemetery. Seven children survive, Mrs. Hattie Giefer of Racine, Mrs. William Wasko, Mrs. August Schroeder, Huron, Mich., Elsie of Racine, John of Birch Creek, Mich., Henry of Two Rivers, and Edward of Racine. One brother, Charles of Neb., and one sister, Mrs. Ernest Landt of this city survive.
