ALBRIGHT - STAUFFER (sic)

Miss Lois A. Stauffer (sic), daughter of. Mr. and Mrs. David A. Stauffer (sic), Newville, RD1, and Leroy A. Albright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Albright, Carlisle, RD2, were united in marriage Monday, July 29, by the Rev. J. W. Schmitt, Pastor of the Centennial United Brethren Church of Frederick. Md. The single ring ceremony was performed at the parsonage.

The bride was attired in a blue dress with white accessories and wore a corsage of yellow rose buds.

Miss Esther Barrick was bridesmaid and Eugene Cohick was best man.

The couple went on a trip through Maryland and Virginia.

The bride is a graduate of Carlisle High School. The bridegroom is employed as a carpenter at Locust Grove Cabins. They will reside at the home of the bridegroom.

Allen Leroy Albright, 55, 3123 Spring Road, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday in Carlisle Hospital, the victim of a heart attack.

Born in Middlesex Township, he was employed at Carlisle Barracks.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served as corporal in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, and was holder of the Philippines Liberation Medal with one Bronze Star. He received a General Education Diploma from Carlisle O1C in 1968.

He was a member of the Middlesex United Methodist Church, its board of trustees and the Sunday school.

Surviving are his wife, Lois Stouffer Albright; a son, Ronald L. Albright a daughter, Evelyn M. Albright, two brothers, William E. Albright, Newville, and Bruce Albright, Carlisle; three sisters, Marie Marsh, Carlisle; Annabelle Sweger, Carlisle; and Romaine L. Getter, Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Middlesex United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Roy Bower officiating.

Burial will be in the veterans section of Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., from 7 to 9 p.
