MRS. JONES DIES SATURDAY AT AGE 79
GLOUSTER--Mrs. Mary Jane (Jennie) Jones, 79, of Madison St., died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. Dorothy Rogers of Columbus, following a long illness.
She was born in England in 1880, a daughter of the late John and Mary Whitfield Bee. She was a member of Thea Chapter Order of Eastern Star 192, a member of the Glouster Church of Christ, the Glouster Garden Club, and the Senior Progressive Study Club.
She is survived by the daughter, Dorothy, and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer and a son, Robert.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Wiley funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Teater officiating. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday, Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
