Grover Waterson Calhoun Jr. was born in Ola, Texas on October 17, 1930 to Grover and Sarah Glenn Calhoun. Grover passed away in Wills Point, Texas on February 23, 2013.

Grover attended schools in Ola and Kaufman.
He entered the U. S. Army and served at the Panama Canal during the Korean Conflict. After, the service Grover worked a couple of years at Atlantic-Richfield in Dallas before opening Kaufman Air Conditioning in 1960, and then retired in 2003. Grover was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman.
On June 8, 1957 Grover married Wanda Joyce Alltood in Kaufman.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda of Kaufman, daughter: Tamara Stahalman and her husband Mont of Kaufman, grandchildren: Callie Silvey and her husband Zachary and Cara Stahalman, great-great grandson: Jackson Silvey, brothers: Royce Calhoun of Berne and Hugh Calhoun of Mansfield, sisters: Helen Hansard of Dallas, Bonnie Habegger of Berne, Indiana, Joyce Davis of Tyler, Doris Dykes of Ola and Sue Sprunger of Berne, Indiana.
