After, the service Grover worked a couple of years at Atlantic-Richfield in Dallas before opening Kaufman Air Conditioning in 1960, and then retired in 2003. Grover was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman.
On June 8, 1957 Grover married Wanda Joyce Alltood in Kaufman.
He is survived by his wife: Wanda of Kaufman, daughter: Tamara Stahalman and her husband Mont of Kaufman, grandchildren: Callie Silvey and her husband Zachary and Cara Stahalman, great-great grandson: Jackson Silvey, brothers: Royce Calhoun of Berne and Hugh Calhoun of Mansfield, sisters: Helen Hansard of Dallas, Bonnie Habegger of Berne, Indiana, Joyce Davis of Tyler, Doris Dykes of Ola and Sue Sprunger of Berne, Indiana.
