Mrs. Mattie C. Russell, 85, of 102 Rosedale Avenue in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. Henry B. Calhoun and Mrs. Betty Judd Calhoun, was born in Hart County, Kentucky, June 26, 1891. She died at 8 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 1976, at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville where she had been a patient for one day. She had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Link Lile December 14, 1913. He preceded her in death September 1, 1942. She reunited in marriage to Mr. Chester A. Russell August 19, 1948. He preceded her in death March 19, 1971. Mrs. Russell is survived by two sons and one daughter: Mr. Lee Lile of Campbellsville, Mrs. Owen (Virginia) Sharp of Brandenburg, Kentucky, and Mr. Frank Lile of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. Vira Cavin, who is a patient at Medco Center in Campbellsville. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, December 13, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel in Campbellsville by Rev. W. C. Morris. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers: C. A.
