Ronald C. Boatright died on Saturday, February 23, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with his health. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to his parents Henry O. Boatright and Margaret (Stansbury) Boatright on November 3, 1932. After receiving his early elementary education he graduated high school. After graduating from high school, he served in the Navy from May, 1951 - May, 1955. In 1958, he fell in love and married the love of his life. Ms. Myra Jean (Hodge) was the lucky lady who stole his heart and they shared fifty four years in marriage. Ronald provided for his family by working for Calary Chemical and Fan Steel in Muskogee, Oklahoma working in the chemistry lab. He was also attending college while he was working during the day. In 1963 Ronald had finally completed all the in class education that he had desired. He graduated Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Chemistry, Math and Physics. Ronald and Myra lived in Wagoner for several years until moving to Tulsa for the past two. He retired after working for years at the Condit Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a sales engineer. While living in Wagoner he enjoyed going fishing and playing cards with his family and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
