She married Leon C. Groves on 4 January 1951 at Bomarton, Texas.
Mrs. Groves worked part-time for Archer City Pharmacy. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst, was a member and past president of the Ladies' Golf Association in Archer City and was a member of the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Society.
She moved to Archer City in 1952 from Olney, Texas.
Survived by her husband; two daughters - Carol Campbell of Archer City and Julie Humpert of Windthorst; two sons - Mark Groves of Lake Kickapoo and Scott Groves of Brentwood, CA; three sisters - Lillie Dvorak of Ennis, Margaret Holub and Helen Marak, both of Seymour; one brother - George Marak of Seymour; four grandchildren.
