He was an Executive at Hager Hinge Company for 35 years serving as Vice President of Manufacturing and later as Sr. Director of Development for Ducks Unlimited for 15 years.
John was a member of The Knights of Columbus and also an active member of St. Peters Cathedral in Jackson.
John is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Ridgeland; his children Christian (Christopher) Hogan of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, Elizabeth (Timothy) Riley of Ballwin, Missouri and Henry (Tricia) Belz, IV of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren Sarah Warren Gagnon, Caroline Elizabeth Gagnon, Peter Joseph Gagnon, Jack Henry Riley, John Richard "Jack" Hogan, Mason Bader Riley and Sophie Lee Nguyen Belz.
John was cremated and his ashes buried in Stoneville Cemetery in Leland, MS on February 25,2013 and also in his family plot at Bellefontaine Cemetery on April 2, 2013.
