Loyd (my cousin) was the son of Jeremiah Blalock and 1. Martha Peneliphe "Nelly" Harvey and grandson of James Riley Blalock and Mary Ann Vail & Massey Chesterfield Harvey and Lauraine Bridges. His brother was Boyd Clayton Blalock; his half-brother was James Malcol Blalock, Sr.; half-sister was Earline Blalock. Loyd married Lou Allie Brown, daughter of John Henry Brown and Allie Aucoin Walker, on June 16, 1934 in Jonesboro, LA. Children: Doris Nell (Smith, Hennigan), Kenneth Loyd, Mary Frances (Sargent) and Judith Ann Blalock.
