A number from here attended the funeral of the late Rose Kvitek Wednesday. Interment took place at Greenstreet.

She was a cousin to Rose Kvitek, the girl who won the Herald's auto. During the summer she was employed at the condensing factory at Denmark.

She was eighteen years old and died of brain fever at a Green Bay hospital.

Friends of Miss Rose Kvitek were shocked to hear of her death which occurred at St. Vincent's hospital Monday morning after an illness of about two weeks. Death was due to spinal meningitis.

Miss Kvitek was employed at the condensed milk factory here and was a girl of bright and sunny disposition and a favorite among her many friends by whom she will be sadly missed.

She was 17 years of age and is survived by her father and mother, two sisters and one brother, to whom the sympathy of the entire community is extended.

The funeral was held Wednesday from St. Wencel's church, Rev. Father Braun performing the last sad rites. Beautiful floral offerings were given by many of her friends from here.
