ANNA KVITEK
(1871 - 1954)
Mrs. Anna Kvitek, 83, of Maribel, died Tuesday afternoon following a lingering illness at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kvitek. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 Friday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville, the Rev. Frank Svatek officiating. Burial will be in Greenstreet Cemetery.
The former Anna Wanek was born April 30, 1871 in the Town of New Denmark, Brown County and was married in 1895 to John Kvitek. They operated a farm in the Town of Cooperstown until their retirement 29 years ago and moved to Maribel. Mr. Kvitek died 10 years ago and for the past five years, Mrs. Kvitek lived with their children.
She is survived by a son, Frank of Maribel, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Opichka of Milwaukee, Mrs. Edward Fogeltanz of Rt. 1, Maribel and Mrs. Joseph Vavrunck of Rt. 2, Denmark; a brother, Charles Wanek of Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Pelishek, Mrs. Mary Hoffman and Mrs. Joseph Frelich of Denmark; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
