Michael J. Singer, age 56, a resident of Palm Harbor, FL, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his residence.
Mike was born on October 25, 1956 in Manitowoc to Jerome and Dolores Petzke Singer. He graduated from Roncalli High School with the class of 1975. Mike then enlisted with the United States Navy where he served programming submarine systems and studied computer science. After additional coursework in computer science, he worked as Senior Manager of Global Projects and Technology for Man Power International in Milwaukee. He was most recently employed as Senior Vice President of Citi Bank in Tampa, FL. Captain Mike loved fishing the Gulf and took pride taking family and friends on his boat. He also enjoyed bike riding and the great outdoors.
Survivors include Mike's parents: Jerome and Dolores Singer, Manitowoc; brother: Joe (Amy) Singer, Manitowoc; three sisters: Cynthia Singer, Manitowoc; Lori (Carl) Sieracki, Manitowoc; and Kay (Jim) Hebel, Fond du Lac; special friends: Ken and Patty Schneider, Manitowoc; fishing friend: Johnathon, Clearwater, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his special "girls" – his dogs Jazz and Gabby, who were at his side at the time of his death.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date and his cremated remains will be interred in a family plot in Wilton, WI.
