MRS. CLEO J. THOMPSON, 89, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, December 24th.
Mrs. Thompson, a native of Jackson County, was a homemaker and was the oldest member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Hulon Hill officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Fred C. Thompson of Gainesville; 3 daughters, Frances Lewis of Stockbridge and Geneva Knight and Elizabeth Thomas of Jefferson; a sister, Mrs. Hope Harris of Jefferson; a sister in law, Mrs. Annie Lou Jackson of Jefferson; 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
