The best evidence is the 14 July 1860 census "Corvallis P.O., Lloyds, Benton Co., OR, image 4, age 8/12, name shown as Eliza D. Buckingham. In that era one would be hard pressed to travel from NY to OR in 8 months with small children. All census show her birth place as OR. We also thought that she died in Coos Co., but the Oregon Death Index indicates otherwise.
She married 9 January 1899 at Bandon, Coos Co., OR, Samuel D. Barrows b: July 1858 in CA. He died 1 November 1926 in Portland, OR.
