56, of 2237 Gillis Road, Woodbine, who died Sunday at
an area hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Woodbine, he was the son of the late Robert and
Florence Morris Danner Pickett. A veteran of World
War II, he was a life member of the VFW Molleville Farm
Post 467. Before his retirement, he was employed
at Thomas, Bennett and Hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Lambert Pickett; two
daughters. Mrs. Wanda F. Ketterman of Littlestown, Pa.
and Mrs. Linda D. Warehime of Hanover, Pa.; two sisters,
Mrs. Elva Heller of Aspers, Pa., and Mrs. Irene Davis of
Biglerville, Pa.; and five grandchildren
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. from the Thomas D.
Fletcher and Son Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St,
Westminster. The Rev. Dr. Frederick P. Eckhardt, pastor
of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster, will officiate.
Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Cemetery.
