Alex was proud of his service in World War II where he served as a private and a member of the 101st Airborne. If we asked, he shared many stories of his time spent in the Battle of the Bulge. However, he was especially proud of his children and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. We will all miss him dearly but are glad to know he has been reunited with his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, George, Joe and Bill; four sisters, Mary, Nelly, Ann and Margie, and a son Jon.
He is survived by three brothers, Frank and John; three sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren, four great granddaughters, and his significant other, special friends, special nieces and nephews.
