LAUDIE MELLA

Laudie Mella, 84, of R. 3, Sheboygan, died Sunday at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Jacob Glomski.
He was born March 21, 1877 in Newton, a son of the late Walter and Mary (Veronica)
Mella. He attended the Newton District School and was married in 1906
to Bridget Peaschek. She died in 1918.
He was employed by the Garton Toy Co. after coming to Sheboygan in 1946
from Newton where he had operated a tavern for many years.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jacob (Florence) Glomski; and two sisters,
Mrs. Steve Schundolla of Manitowoc and Mrs. Joseph Zick of Two Creeks, Wis.
He also was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers (Joseph #105836830 and Francis #105838906).
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Claver Catholic
Church following brief rites at Ramm's Funeral Home at 9 a.m. The Rev.
Robert M. Hoeller, pastor, will be celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial
will be in the family lot in St. Casimir's Cemetery in Newton.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Parishioners
will hold a vigil at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
