Alma Ann Gowan of Rossville died Monday February 18, 2013, in a local healthcare facility. She was 88.

She enjoyed flowers, plants, music, flea markets, talking and fellowshipping with friends that she loved. She was a very devoted mother and friend and was a member of Chattanooga First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Gowan; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Caldwell; parents, Robert and Lucy Harris; brothers, William and Charlie Harris and sister, Frances Crawford.

Survivors include her daughter, Alma Jo Gowan; son, William McKeehan; three grandchildren, Angela (Jeff) Campbell, Stacy (Scott) Caldwell and Faith (Mike) Orrick, sister, Betty May Humphrey; five great-grandchildren, Bailey Campbell, Hunter Caldwell, Jake Caldwell, Cole Roberson and Aden Orrick; three children adopted in love, Shirley Holland, Peggy Young and Bill Smalley.

Funeral services: Thursday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Chattanooga First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Eric Johnson officiating. Burial: Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
