Mrs. Thomas Peska, 85, died this morning at the home of her son, Wencel in Maribel, following a four day illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Husar funeral home in Kellnersville and at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Kellnersville, the Rev. Joseph Svatek officiating. Burial will be in St. Wencel cemetery in Greenstreet.

Mrs. Petska, nee Anna Kafka, was born in Cooperstown in 1863 and was married to Thomas Petska in 1884. They located at Rosencrans. Mr. Petska died 34 years ago.

Survivors are two sons, Wencel of Maribel and Joseph of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Schneider of Green Bay, Mrs. Peter Reedy of Maribel and Mrs. Emil Schultz of Francis Creek; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Petska was a member of the ZCBJ lodge. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
