Adelaide "Tootsie" Coen, 81, of Strange Creek, died May 14, 2007, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born April 5, 1926, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Emmit and Agnes Baker. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Oley Ronzel "Jimmy" Coen in 1984; one grandson, Jamie in 1974; and one brother, Edmond Baker.
She was a member of the Keener's Ridge Community Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and using her CB with the handle Golden Eagle.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Holcomb of Strange Creek; son, David Coen of Vermillion, Ohio; brothers, Fred Baker of Macon, Ga., and Earl Baker of Cookville, Tenn. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Paul Frame officiating. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery, Keener's Ridge, Strange Creek. Friends may call Friday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral
