Jeanette Rezek, age 73, of 10618 Francis Creek Road, Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Oct. 31, 2002 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2002 at The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Burial will follow at Kossuth National Cemetery, town of Kossuth.
Jeanette was born Aug. 15, 1929 in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Sam and Julia Chaloupka Mott. She grew up and attended local schools in the town of Gibson. Jeanette worked at Mirro Corp., for a short time and then farmed with her husband at the Rezek Family Homestead farm. She and her husband retired in 1977. Jeanette married Gardy E. Rezek on Sept. 23, 1950 at Melnik Presbyterian Church, Melnik. Gardy preceded her in death on July 9, 1993. She loved to work in her flower garden, play sheepshead and was a good Bohemian cook.
Survivors include two sons: Darwin Rezek of rural Two Rivers; and James Rezek of rural Two Rivers; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Edith and Dale Schroeder of Two Rivers; Grace and Chester Novak of Francis Creek; sister-in-law: Gladys Rezek of Evansville, Ind.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her parents and her husband: Gardy, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Alvin Mott; one sister: Lucille Robinson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Paul Anderson, Clarence Rezek, Otto Rezek, Ben Rezek, Joe Rezek and Celia Rezek.
Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and Monday from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m.
