Karen was married to Stollie Ferrell Jr. for 54 years in July. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Jamestown, N.C. Karen was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She loved her many friends and church family, and had many friends and family in West Virginia. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Stollie; sons, Charles Curtis, Steven Wayne, and Terry Donald Ferrell; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Ada Trent of Man, and a brother, Bobby Garrett of Cleveland, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 28, at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Jamestown.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Sechrest Funeral Service.
