Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 26, 2013, Mr. Goldman Taylor "Brash" Brashear, 94, husband of Mrs. Beverly D. Brashear.

Mr. Brashear was a retired Real Estate Broker and the past president of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors. He was a Ret. Lt. Col after 20 years of service in the United States Army. Mr. Brashear served in World War II and received a Combat Infantry Badge and the American Defense Medal.

Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Tice Brashear (Jan) of Augusta and Ercel Eugene Dotson of Apex, NC; daughter: Dessa Brashear of France; brother: Ercel Brashear of Hereford, TX; sister: Joan Womble; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with The Rev. Robert Fain officiating. Interment followed at Westover Memorial Park.
