Jean was born to William Dee and Nettie Rhea Adams. She was the only daughter her parents had out of eleven children. Jean married her one, and only sweetheart, a marriage made in Heaven. They were later sealed in the LDS Temple. Together they were blessed by a son, a grandson, a granddaughter and one great grandchild. Aunt Jean was a truly amazing woman and there seemed to be nothing she couldn't accomplish. She spent many years as a den mother with the Boy Scouts of America, and was an avid camper.

Aunt Jean brought great joy at our family reunion, with a constant twinkle in her eyes, powerful love in her heart and a bright smile for everyone there. No matter the situation, her strength shone through, lending herself to whomever was in need of a comforting embrace. She was a woman to emulate and admire. Aunt Jean will truly be missed by all those who love her. Heaven just acquired itself a real angel from earth. She was survived by her loving husband, son, grandchildren, great grandchild, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
