John M. Zipperer, Cato route 1, died at the Holy Family Hospital Sunday evening, two days after his 67th birthday. He had been ill for a year.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the home and at9:30 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body was removed to the home this afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home and will lie in state until the time of the funeral.
Mr. Zipperer was born July 22, 1871, in the town of Cato and lived there all his life. He was a farmer. Forty-one years ago he married Theresa Zipperer.
Survivors are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Evan Siehr of Manitowoc,Sister M. Aurelia of St. Francis of Assisi, Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert Mersch of Evanston and Mildred at home; three sons, John C. Zipperer of Evanston,
Edmund of Manitowoc and Bernard, at home; four brothers, Anton Zipperer of the town of Franklin and Frank, Joseph and Charles Zipperer of the town of Cato; and two sisters, Mrs. Peter Braun of Brillion and Mrs. Alex Fischer of Manitowoc Rapids.
