RINGGOLD Doris Louise White Adams, a precious Angel from Ringgold, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, March 2, 2012.She was a lifelong member of Burning Bush Baptist Church, where she was involved with the Jessie Green Circle, a ladies mission group. Doris also attended the Class of One Accord Sunday School group. She enjoyed her career in the Mortgage industry and had a passion for her family as well as life.She was preceded in death by husband, the Honorable George W. Adams; parents, Al and Arlene White; paternal grandparents, John and Florence White; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Carrie Perkins; and a nephew, John Arnold White.Survivors include her children, Ron (Betty) Adams, Gary (Connie) Adams, Terry Adams and Debbie (Fred) Davis, all of Ringgold; sister. Jo Ann (Ron) Shoemake, Rossville; brother, Sherrill (Shirley) White, Ringgold; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Burning Bush Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis McNulty officiating. Interment will follow in Burning Bush Baptist Church Cemetery with Randy Teeters, Rusty Robertson, Chris Adams, Jay Shoemake, Chad Russell and Randy Whiting serving as pallbearers.
