Mrs. Anna Zeman, 80, of Maribel, died Thursday morning at the home of her son, Victor, in the village, following a six months illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and at 9 o'clock at the St. Joseph Catholic church, Kellnersville. The Rev. Frank Svatek will officiate and burial will be in the Greenstreet Cemetery.
She was born Anna Shusta in Cooperstown in 1871 and 58 years ago was married to Frank M. Zeman. They located on a farm in the town. Mr. Zeman died 26 years ago and 14 years ago, Mrs. Zeman moved to Maribel to reside with her son. She was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge of Rosecrans.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Rappel and Mrs. Joseph Kettner of Manitowoc, Mrs. Joseph Zipperer of Elkhart Lake; three sons, Victor of Maribel, Charles of Greenstreet and Louis of Manitowoc; brother, Joseph Shusta of Route 2, Cato; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Frank, died September 8.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.
