Restaurant, Hotel Fixture Salesman Dies

Brice N. Anderson, 85, 3233 Country Club Pl., died Thursday morning in a local hospital. He was a long-time broker and salesman of restaurant and hotel fixtures in the city.

He suffered a stroke in October. 1946, while supervising the installation of equipment he furnished for a maternity section of Wesley Hospital and had been a semi-invalid since.

He was born at Turnerville, Sept. 11, 1889. He was married at Clinton, Okla., on March 18; 1911. and moved here from Clinton with his family in 1916.

He was a 33rd degree Mason and a member of First Methodist a Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Anderson, of the home: two sons, H. B. Anderson. of the home address, and M. E. Anderson, 554 S. Crestway Ave.; two brothers, Charles E. Anderson, 418 Stephens St., and Millard H. Anderson, 431 S. Martinson Ave.; a sister, Miss Susan M. Anderson of the Stephens street address; and four grandchildren.

Funeral plans will be announced by the Lahey Mortuary.

Funeral services for Brice N. Anderson. 65, of 3233 Country Club Pl., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lahey Mortuary. The Rev. George D. McClelland, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, will officiate.

Mr. Anderson died Thursday at a local hospital, after a nine-year illness following a stroke in 1946.

Born Sept. 11, 1889, in Turnerville, Ga., Mr. Anderson moved to Wichita in 1916. He was a member of the Albert Pike Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, H. B., of the home, and M. E., 554 S. Crestway; a sister, Susan M. Anderson, 418 Stephens; two brothers, Charles E.,.418 Stephens, and Millard H., 4318 Martinson, and four grandchildren.

Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
