Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw.
The Rev. Richard Heymen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brunner was born Oct. 5, 1887, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Wolfgang and Sophia Utz Brunner. He married Erna Schimmel Oct. 30, 1912, at Mishicot. Mr. Brunner was a butcher by trade and worked in Mishicot, Rockwood and Whitelaw. He also operated a tavern in Whitelaw for 27 years retiring in 1956.
Mr. Brunner was a director of the Maribel Whitelaw Bank for 40 years, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 706, of Manitowoc, a member of St. the Catholic
Knights Branch No. 147 of Whitelaw. Mr. and Mrs. Brunner celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1962.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Raymond and Howard, of Whitelaw; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Flossie) Kohlbeck, of Whitelaw, and Mrs. William (Genrose) Falvey, of Manitowoc; a brother, Edward, of Whitelaw; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday until the time of service. Eagles Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. and a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday by Father Heymen, the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Knights.
