She was born on December 31, 1930 in Crookston, MN to Edwin and Wilhemina (Hollingshead) Cochrane. She was united in marriage to Richard F. Almer on June 7, 1952 and became a long time resident of Cloquet; later retiring to Yuma, AZ. Bev was a registered nurse and worked for the Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital as well as the Raiter Clinic. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; brothers Edwin, Kenneth, James, and Donald. She is survived by her son, Richard (Paula) Almer; daughter Judith Almer; daughter Kay (Michael Fernandez) Almer; 2 grandchildren, Laura Beth (Michael) Brown and Dana Lynn Almer; 2 great grandchildren, Miles and Alec. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet with the service immediately following at 11:00am. Inurnment services will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet to assist them with arrangements.
