Marion John Standridge

KINGSLAND - Marion John Standridge , 78, of Kingsland died there Monday, May 25.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Highland Lakes Church of Christ in Kingsland with Henry Allan officiating. Burial will be in Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Waldrope-Hatfield Funeral Home in Kingsland has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Standridge was born in Medicine Mound, Texas, Dec. 15, 1913. He was a conductor for the Burlington-Rock Island Railroad and was a member of the First Christian Church in Teague, the Teague Masonic Lodge and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Surviving are his wife, Veda; one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Richard Graxiola of Seguin; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Judy Standridge of Houston; two brothers, A. B. Standridge of Beaumont and Harrell Standridge of Kerrville; one sister, Dora Kiser of El Paso; three grandchildren, Michael Graxiola of Paris, John David Standridge of Houston and Derek Standridge of Houston; two great-grandchildren, Paul and Trisha Graxiola of Paris, and a granddaughter-in-law, Debbie Graxiola of Paris.
