The date of birth differs from the date of 1883 on the online death certificate from Allen Co., Ky under the name of Mertal Alice Law shows 1890 which I am inclined to believe since the 1900 and 1910 census indicate her birth to be 1890. Her parents said they had been married 10 years in 1900.
