Clyde Hyrum Ewell "Together Again"

In the midst of his loving family Clyde H. Ewell, age 87, passed away on February 27, 2013.

He was born to Hyrum Ezekial and Leona Ewell on April 8, 1925 in Nephi, Utah. He attended Juab High School in Nephi.

On August 19, 1961 in Elko, Nevada he married the love of his life Colleen McPherson, this marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Clyde loved and was very proud of his son, Scott L. Riddle and daughter Tamara E. Broderick.

Clyde proudly served his country in WWII. He was an electronic technician at Hill Air Force Base for 34 years.

He was a man of many talents. He could fix anything that came his way. He loved his family and was always there for them. Some of his happiest days were spent fishing with his family and friends.

Clyde is survived by his children, Tamara E. Broderick, Ogden and Scott (Leanna) Riddle, Roy; grandsons, Shawn S. Riddle, Kelly R. Riddle, Michael D. Riddle, Brady R. Riddle and Tyson K. Broderick, one granddaughter, Kelsey A. Broderick; numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen (Clarence) Reed, Barbara (Burt) Manwell and Leona (John) Hanson, all of Salt Lake City.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen M. Ewell; parents, Hyrum and Leona Ewell of Nephi, Utah; and one brother, Robert Ewell.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Lorin Farr 2nd Ward, 480 7th St. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

We would like to thank McKay Hospital 5th floor staff for their expert and compassionate care of our father. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Legacy Hospice. They sent us angels in our hour of need, Marie, Jody and Alan.
