Wilma Irene Addison, daughter of Arthur and Essie Breakfield O'Quinn, was born July 8, 1919, near Orla, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, December 20, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of ninety-three years, five months, and twelve days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Timothy Martin; a brother, Olan O'Quinn; and two sisters, Thelma McShane, and Ruby Hawkins.

Wilma is survived by a daughter, Sally Martin, of the home; a son, Edward "Ed" Addison, and his wife, Beatrice, of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Nola Day, of Independence, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from Lebanon High School. She then continued to make her home in Lebanon. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, Wilma worked for American Sales for several years, and then was a sales clerk for Dryers Shoe Store in downtown Lebanon. She also had done babysitting throughout the years.
Wilma had attended Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon and was actively involved in her church.

In her spare time she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, which she often made into lovely bouquets that she would share with residents of the nursing homes. She also liked caring for her yard and having time with her friends. She had a quiet personality, but enjoyed visiting with family and friends on the telephone. She loved children and especially liked spending time with her grand-children and great-grandchildren.

Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
