Louise A. (Concannon) Jones of Plainville

Louise A. Jones (Concannon) of Plainville, formerly of Alton, New Hampshire and Canton passed away December 11th at home. Born and raised in Milton and Hyannis, she attended Barnstable Schools, graduated from Emmanuel College and attended a Master's in Education program at Boston College. She was an active member of all the youth sports programs in the Town of Canton and she was a school teacher at the Kennedy, Luce, Hanson & Gridley Elementary Schools in Canton for many years before retiring in 1995. After retirement she moved to Alton, N.H. where she was an active member of the St. Joan of Arc Parish and a volunteer at the public library. Beloved wife of the late George M. Jones. Mother of George M. Jr. of Plainville, Ed J. & his wife Anne of Plainville, Richard J. of Foxboro, William T. of Waltham, Steven M & his wife Stacey of N.H. & Robert O. & his wife Heather of N.H. Sister of Marie Richard of Hull & Richard Concannon of N.C. Also survived by 10 grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS:
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St., Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Friday morning at 10:30.

Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Community Visiting Nurses Assn & Hospice, 10 Emory St. Attleboro, MA 02703.
