Samuel Lee Dalton, 63, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Statesville.

Mr. Dalton was born in Floyd County to the late Everett Luther and Nelva Ann Mitchell Dalton.

Survivors include, sons, Stevie Ray Dalton of Willis, VA and Jerald Wayne Dalton of North Carolina;
brothers, Elwood Dalton and Henry Dalton, both of Statesville, Harley Dalton of Cleveland, NC and Curtis Luther Dalton of Willis;
sisters, Maudie Quesenberry and Margie Heugel, both of Florida;
five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Akers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Reece Cemetery on Indian Valley Road.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.

Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
