Funeral Home, Valley View. Rev D. A. Laskey of Tower City will officiate.
Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
Mr. Herb was born in Pottsville, March 18, 1943, a son of Russell and Pearl (Bohner) Herb.
Surviving in addition to his parents, of Valley View, are his widow, the former Karen Herring; children, Penny and Bryan; brothers an sister, Gary, of Hegins, Lamar, of Sacramento; David, of Hegins; Mrs. Thomas Scheib, of Millersburg, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maude Stutzman, of Valley View.
He was a member of the Church of God, Valley View; Independent Miners
and Associates, was a deputy fish and game warden, a member of the
Fraternal Order of Police, Hegins Area Ambulance Association, Valley View and Hegins Fire Companies and the National Rifle Association.
