Michael Stephen Soots, 44, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born Oct. 18, 1954, in Martinsville. His mother was Patricia Darlene (Rairdon) Soots. His father is Orville Ernest Soots. Other survivors include two sons, Jon W. Soots of Indianapolis and Michael Anthony Soots of Middletown; two daughters, Stacy R. Soots of Franklin and Brandy M. Shelley of Greenwood; four sisters, Pamela D. Soots and Penny D. Hornaday, both of Mooresville, Patricia D. Blankenbaker of Jacksonville, Fla., and Phyllis D. Martfield of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.
