ROBERT WINSTON BECKETT, age 68, Carlisle, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Fayette County, May 3, 1944 to the late Carl and Ruth Watson Beckett, he was a former maintenance supervisor of Bundy Tubing and a member of Headquarters Methodist Church. Mr. Beckett loved drag racing, car restoration, Nascar, building and making furniture and helping others.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Stacy Beckett; a son, Robert Dennis (Kelly) Beckett; a daughter, Rachel (Kenny) Vanover; a stepson, Billy Duncan; a stepdaughter, Stacye White; two brothers, Jim (Joyce) Beckett and Bill (Debbie) Beckett; a sister, Barbara (Sam) Cover; a host of grandchildren, family and friends and a great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at Ware Funeral Home by Brenda Routt. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Elizaville Cemetery in Fleming County. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.

Active pallbearers will Steve Stacy, Jon Stacy, Daryl Stacy, Wayne Secrest, Kenny Vanover, Phillip McDonald, Rick Elam and Robert Beckett.
