ADAMS COUNTY FARMER DIES
George B. Heddington Dies After An Extended Illness

George B. Heddington, 76, prominent Blue Creek township farmer, died late Thursday at his home. Death was attributed to dropsy and heart trouble, following an illness of two years.
He was born on the same farm, August 8, 1863, the son of Leban and Sarah Daniels - Heddington. Surviving are the widow, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Madge Johnson and Mrs. James Michaels; two sons, Archie and Cal; and two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Murphy and Mrs. Daniel Miller, all of Monroe. Six grandchildren also survive.
One son, five sisters, three brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Maple Grove church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock (central standard time) at the home and 2 o'clock at the Spring Hill church, with Rev. Vernon Riley, pastor of the Monroe Friends church, officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill cemetery.
