Services for Harold Wallace 81 of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday at Burks Walker Tippet Funeral Directors Chapel,Tyler with the Rev. Randy Wallace,Charles Bell and Barry Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.Mr Wallace died Feb.19,2007 in a Lindale Nursing Home.
He was born Jan.9, 1926 in SeaGraves to the late Marion S. and Bertha (Bashaw) Wallace.
He served in the Navy and the Coast Gurard during World War II and Korea. He owned and operated Harolds Furniture Service for many years and he was a member of Friendly Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by son Bruce Wallace in 1969 and grandson Michael Wallace. Brothers Beecher, Frank, Grady, Ray and sisters Esther Powell and Ruth Dean.
Survivors include his wife Roberta Wallace of Tyler children James and Vivian Sugarland, Patricia Gowen of Longview,Robert Wallace Gallup N.M., Burt of Whitehouse, Jeff Wallace Tyler, Randy Wallace Killeen, And Eva Wilspn of Kingwood and sister Winnie McCallister of Rio Vista Calif, 32 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pall Bearers are Clayton Wallace,Jamie Wallace, Andy Wallace, Brian Wallace, Bradley Wallace,John Wallace,Tyler Wallace, Joseph Wagnon. Daniel Wilson, and David Wilson.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.Thursday at the funeral home.
