James Andrew "Drew" Branch, 57, of 175 West Matson Avenue, departed this life Friday at Crouse Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Syracuse to the late James and Adeline Branch. He attended Syracuse Public Schools and Onondaga Community College. He was the owner and operator of Branch's Gifts and Balloons.
Survivors: He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 29 years, Ida Branch of Syracuse; four children: James (Rebecca) Jones of Syracuse, Latissa Branch-Carter of Rochester, NY, Cheryl (Randy) Branch- Wright and Nashawn Branch, both of Syracuse; one sister Connie Mims of Syracuse; four brothers: Richard (Shirley) Jordan, Douglas (Jeanette) Branch, Gary (Donna) Branch, all of Syracuse and Duane Branch of Charleston, SC; 10 grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services: Tuesday 1 p.m. at Four Square Gospel Church of God In Christ, Elder Kenneth Clark officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
